Update from Antigua - June 14

Hola to our friends and family...and especailly to our teammates still in the US! (We are having a wonderful time learning the language and the culture but are eager for you to join us! ) Today was our 2nd day of class and we have all settled into a routine with our teachers. Everyone is diligent during the class hours and committed to homework as well! Most of the team is attending an additional lecture this evening on Guatemala and Antigua. The days begin early and are very full...but the pace is still sweetly slower than our normal pace.  We are trying very hard to have a Guatemalan mindset in this area!
Even though its rainy season, we have yet to see much rain- a blessing as we walk everywhere- many blocks a day!
We are all feeling well and anticipating a great remainder of school and an awesome week with Medical Missions! Please continue to pray for supernatural synapses (especially for the older members of the team!).  We want to be diligent to prepare for what God has for us next week and use what we are learning! We are all overwhelmed with God's goodness in allowing us such a beautiful time together as a team and for those of you who have made it possible.!
Our love to you for the team, Pam
