From the Prayer Calendar: The clinics (San Marcos, San Sebastian & Amatitlan) - Pray for God’s hand of mercy on the people. Pray that His will be done on earth as in heaven. Believe that the same power that raised Christ Jesus from the dead is in us, and that His love will speak through us to the people (Romans 8:11).
The reason for our trip! We need lots of prayer today! Pray that God is preparing hearts of those people whose paths we will cross. Pray that as the local team and local churches spread the word of our upcoming visits that their hearts will be touched and moved to come to the clinics. The MMM mission statement is “Using medicines to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.” This is why we are going to Guatemala!
I would ask that we pray as we prepare for the Gospel stations. I know that many of us are outside our comfort zones in sharing the Gospel. That is why it is so important that we pray more and more as our trip gets closer and that we just trust that God will speak through us. Based on what I have heard from so many that have done mission trips the Holy Spirit just takes over as we share the Good News. Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." - San Marcos, San Sebastian & Amatitlan!
Pray sometime this evening or in the morning – spend a little extra time and pray for those you will meet in these villages!
