We are very thankful for a problem free trip for the rest of the team to Guatemala - there were no lines, no problems going through security/customs and no flight delays. God seems to be going ahead of our team and clearing the way for HIs work to be done. We arrived in Antiqua and met the rest of the team with lots of hugs in the afternoon after they completed their language school in the morning. Apparently, several of the team members had a wonderful time at the local farmer's market - so much fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, dried fish, etc. but more importantly, it was humbling to see so many native Guatemalan's that are truly dependent on this source of income for their families.
We enjoyed a time of great fellowship together over a late lunch - all 23 of us. Some went to the Artisan market in afternoon, while others rested from their trip and worked on their Spanish homework for school. We had a nice dinner together and ended the day with an inspirational devotion by Carl Meredith reminding all of us of the hopes and dreams of the Guatemalan people that we are honored to serve and to show the love of Christ.
The team is becoming more and more aware of the week ahead as we grow closer serving God's people. There is an excitement building as we are anticipating all that God is going to do. We feel privileged and honored to be a part of His plan.
In His name,
Rob
