Thank you once again for your prayers!

1. From the Prayer Calendar: Corrie Williams - Pray she will rest in the knowledge that God is already preparing the people in Guatemala who she will meet, that her heart will be ready to hear God's voice and that she will be ready to receive what God wants her to learn through them. Deut. 31:8 “The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” I think sometimes we forget God is with us at all times and therefore we forget to call on God at all times throughout the day – we so tend to compartmentalize our lives and forget that God is not part of lives but He is our life! Remember to “pray continually” as we talk to the people of Guatemala and God promises provide the wisdom and courage we need!

2. For our wonderful leader: Pam Chafin – First we are all so, so thankful for all that Pam does to make this trip be so successful and rewarding. Second, please pray for Pam for energy and strength for the next 72 hours before departure on Saturday. Lord please encourage Pam, please give the your wisdom to lead us over the next 2+ weeks, and please defeat the enemy, the great deceiver, on Pam’s behalf - We all know Lord that Satan loves to attack our leaders so please protect Pam. And Father please help all of us team member to submit to Pam’s authority over the next 2 weeks. The writers of Hebrews say it so well: 13:17-18 “Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you. Pray for us (leaders). We are sure that we have a clear conscience and desire to live honorably in every way.” Pam you are a true blessing to all of us!
